Paul Murphy is the Founder and CEO of Pure Transfer Ltd. and FTW. With more than 30 years in high-purity piping, hoses, and process components for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, Paul has built a career on precision, persistence, and people.
Starting as an apprentice pipefitter and TIG welder at 16, Paul’s path led him from “installing shiny pipes” to building businesses that deliver critical solutions to pharma and biotech globally. A family man and lifelong cyclist, he is also a passionate advocate for education in overlooked corners of engineering — whether it’s over-compressed gaskets or the artistry of high-purity hoses. Paul’s leadership blends technical expertise with authenticity, humour, and a deep belief in living life on your own terms.
